Needed a place to stay for one night of a long weekend and was on a budget. Found this place after a quick google search. The price was reasonable and the man running the place was friendly and courteous. The room was cozy and clean with a comfortable bed and decent bedding with extra pillows. The room was newly renovated. Had a nice tv with cable. Also had a good mini fridge and microwave. It’s a no frills motel(no pool or breakfast) but it is clean and comfortable with ample parking. If you are seeking high class accommodation like the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons then this is not the place for you. If you need affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation than this is a good option if you are staying in the Orillia area. I deducted one star as the a/c is a bit noisy and no clock radio in the room.
A basic motel that has everything you need for a few nights; comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, good wifi, a work/desk area, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the main stretch of downtown and a few minutes to the nice park down by the lake. The room we stayed in for sure could use a little fixing up, but really just cosmetically, definitely a fresh coat of paint.
Cute little motel. Stayed one night. Room was basic room nothing fancy but it was very clean and cozy. Mini fridge and tv . Front desk was exceptional. Great customer service. Quiet aea, close to restaurants and walk to the waterfront. We will stay here again next time in Orillia.
My friend and I needed a place to sleep for the night. Very clean, warm, the bed was insanely comfortable, best sleep I’ve had in 2 years. The motel office closes at 11:00pm and man that runs the place waited until midnight for us to arrive. I would definitely stay here again if I was looking for a place to rest my head for the night.
We stayed one night. This Maples Motel is located near all amenities. services are excellent and front desk is very friendly. Rooms are clean beds are so comfy. I would surely come to this place again. Great service guys and thank you again for hospitality.
Queen size bed room was very cozy with a small sofa and mini tub. Very clean and up to date.
Had the pleasure of staying here for one night and I will stay again. The room was just what we needed and the front desk clerk was super informative and had me wanting to stay longer . Yes this is a motel so its not fancy but You can be assured it is in a nice area by the lake and has a metro close by. Awesome location and i cannot wait to come back again
I came up to visit my son at university for 2 days. I just needed a place to sleep for the nights and am on a budget. This was the least expensive accomodation in Orillia. The motel room is small but very clean and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised by the plain-looking shower head. Instant hot water with good pressure! The room has a microwave and mini-fridge, with a Metro grocery store right behind the motel. Located within sight of the pier and a 15 minute walk to downtown. I will most likely choose this spot again the next time I come visit!
Very clean, very comfortable and excellent service. I asked for extra pillows and blankets and the man behind the counter was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave in the room too! An added bonus. Would stay again next time we are in town for a concert at Rama. Much cheaper and not far from the casino.
My wife and I stayed here for five nights. We liked that it was clean and had plenty of storage space for our clothes. There was a separate desk with hydro to charge our electronics and for me to use my laptop. There was plenty of hot water. The fridge worked really well but the microwave was on the small side. Bed was comfortable too. There were lots of electrical outlets for charging devices. The reason for the 4 star instead of the five star review is the small microwave and the clock that was in the room also didn't work properly. The time would randomly change between showing the correct time and the incorrect time. If in the area we would stay here again.
